Mental Health Definition :-

The state of healthy mind that helps an individual to perform occasional or daily tasks at his optimal best, without boredom or anxiety in any situation, be it good or bad.

What causes mental illness?

As of now, there are no proven answers of it; however, researchers think that it is a combination of the things happening around and what is taking place in the body.

Ways to enhance the mental toughness:-

  • Staying physically Active- Exercising will give an Endorphin rush, which will help the person to feel better and fight the anxiety.
 Also, training will result in faster blood circulation;which means, the Brain will get more O2. This will helpthe Brain stay healthy.

High Intensity interval TrainingHIIT, performing any exercise at high intensity and then rest till the respiratory rate settles to normal; is the most beneficial type of exercise for Mental Health.                                                                           
  • Consuming clean diet- The risk of depression increases up to 80% for those teens consuming low quality diet as compared to those having balanced food.                                                                                                                                                                  
Intrestingly, consumption of 30-50 grams of Dark chocolate a day will fight depression.Moreover,chocolate will have euphoric chemicals in that and will give sense of pleasure.Lastly, Dark chocolate is anti inflammatory. 

                       
Limiting feeding window as in case of Intermittent Fasting will benefit from the effect of  Autophagy.                                                        
  • Sleep - Sleep is like pressing a refresh button of the body. Memory solidifies when the person sleeps .

  • Avoid unnecessary medication- most of the drugs disturb the hormonal cycle of the body. Taking it without absolute necessity will do more harm than good. So, if possible, avoid drugs.                                                                                         
  • Meditation- Regular meditation can help an Individual to sleep better.
