Without Sunshine, our earth would have been an Ice – Coated sphere, I’m sure that you all heard it in your School that is of no value in your day to day Life.....  USELESS Education System....!    !

Benefits:- 

  • SAD – Seasonal affective Disorder or winter depression...that happens because of Lack of sunlight in winter. 
Sunlight is linked to the secretion of a Hormone from the Brain – Serotonin that will regulate our mood. 

                                   
Affecting people when they cannot get enough sunlight

SAD is typically a disease of winter and fall. The depression, fatigue and the gained weight – symptoms of it, will go away by summer and spring. 

In the countries where enough sunlight is not available every time of the year, Light therapy is very famous, in which a person has to sit in front of a light box for 15 – 30 minutes each day.


  • Sunlight can help to convert the billirubin to its water soluble isomers that can be excreted easily.

Some child, immediately after birth, is kept behind a window (to filter out harmful rays) to get rid of billirubin from the body.

  • Vitamin D is made in the skin, from cholesterol, when it gets exposed to the Sunrays. 
It will help the body metabolize calcium in a proper way and will preserve the bone Health. 

Going out for exercise in the morning is much more beneficial than working out in the closed environment of Gym.

  • Scientists have shown that sunlight will release a chemical substance called NO (Nitric oxide – situated in the top layer of the skin) in the Blood.

This will further reduce the risk of Stroke, heart attack and metabolic syndromes.

  • Sunshine is good for Fat loss. According to scientists, regular exposure to sun rays will shrink the fat cells beneath the skin. 
Due to loss of subcutaneous fat, you’ll look more shredded and your abs will be seen...!   !

Important :- For reaping all the benefits of Sunshine, one should get 15-20 minute of sunrays on a daily basis, not more than 30. 

Dark skinned people experiences less issue in facing sun for long time.

Serious: - Directly looking at sun will damage the eyes permanently.

Problems:-

  • More than recommended exposure to Sun will increase the chances of a person getting Skin cancer and the skin will become leathery in texture, it will develop dark spots and wrinkles also.

 Exposure to sunlight for recommended time will prevent psoriasis and vitiligo.

  • Staying more in sun will weaken the Immunity
Sunburned skin will heal with the help of WBC (White Blood Cells) from the blood. 

That will decrease the free WBC in the circulation and body’s ability to fight the Infection will decrease.

In order to protect yourself from harmful effects of Sun Rays, applying sunscreen if you have to remain in Sun for long , is a good Idea.

For enjoying sun, Morning sunshine is good , when UV index is low.
